Featured Academic Events
Featured Academic Events are seminars, visiting faculty lectures, guest lectures, and academic career planning programs that are open to the campus community. Upcoming Featured Academic Events appear under the "Featured Academic Events" filter at our classroom schedule Web site.
On the 25Live submission, please check the "Featured Academic Event" box to designate your event as a Featured Academic Event. Classroom Scheduling will contact you to collect detailed information about the event, including the name of the speaker and a brief description. The information you provide will appear in the "Featured Academic Events" schedule.
Featured Academic Event listings will begin with fall quarter 2011 functions. Event subject matter and format should be suitable for public attendance. For most events, the room should seat at least 100 people. If you already have an event scheduled for fall 2011 with a confirmed room and would like to include your event, please contact Classroom Scheduling at 476-4436.
We hope that Featured Academic Event listings will help to publicize your events, increase collaboration and communication across UCSF sites, and inform the campus community about the diverse academic open forum discussions taking place at UCSF on a daily basis.
