For special events - lectures, conferences and other events - ETS is the support solution for your technical needs. Our friendly, knowledgeable technicians will set up venues to meet your specifications and provide reliable onsite technical support throughout your event (See Rate sheet for charges).
Routine Classroom Support
Unless specifically requested by the client, technicians do not show up for every class. Instead, rooms are "set" every morning to make sure the technology is functioning properly and supplies (batteries, markers, etc) are available. About a third of the classrooms (generally larger venues) are electronically monitored for signs of trouble, in which case a technician can be dispatched within minutes or a service agent can walk through a setup on the phone.
The user interfaces in our classrooms are designed to be intuitive for the user by providing a touch screen, "What do you want to do today?" format. If all else fails, users are encouraged to call 476-HELP. If you prefer the assurance of knowing technical help is close at hand, ETS will provide support on an hourly basis.
ETS provides technical support only. For other event-related needs - like parking, catering and additional furniture, Campus Life Services can provide the support you need.
