Requesting Support
Thank you for your interest in having ETS support your event. Here are some guidelines to help when booking our service.

1. CLS can help with turning on the room and provide microphones that are built in. Computer and AV troubleshooting is not included in their services.
2. If your event is internal to UCSF and focused on Academic Courses or Programs, then ETS may be able to provide day of support.
3. Support request lead time is at least 2 weeks prior to event day.
3. Requests made within 3 business days of the event date will be accessed a $47 late request fee alongside any support costs.

What does support entail?
Setup and Go:
Our technicians arrive 15 minutes prior to event start time, get you setup, monitor the event in rooms for 15 minutes, and then we leave. Setups include steps such as laptops connections, audio visual gear deliver and setup, and zoom call connections (in equipped rooms).
No support is provided after this time period ends. We are unable to shift from a setup and go, to full event staffing on event day.
Setup and Support Staffing:
Our technicians set up the event and remain in the room to provide support for the duration of the event. They will help with any technical issues that arise and help with presenters with getting setup.
Note: We are not able to change slides for you as that should be in the hands of the presenter, not the technician who may need to do other tasks in the background, while the event is going on.
Prices and Hours of support?
ETS hours are from 8 am and 5 pm Monday - Friday. Events that require support before 8 AM or after 5 PM will need to have a technical staff volunteer as this is overtime. We send out overtime requests when they are received and we will confirm as soon as we get a volunteer.

Important Zoom Information for Mission Bay Conference Center
Zoom capabilities in Robertson Auditorium are available with the support of a CLS-recommended AV team.
Full Video Production Zoom or Stream Setup
This process requires a consult with our Production Team at least 1 month prior to event start time.
ETS has a production group that can bring in cameras, switchers, and more to broadcast your event on zoom or stream on platforms like youtube. Our limited production staff may not be able to accommodate all requests. This can be scaled from 1 camera to 3 cameras. Expect to pay for 4-6 hours of setup and breakdown time and we charge for consultation time past the first meeting.
